Privacy notice

Plain words about what happens to the details you send us. Last updated 14 September 2026.

In short: we use what you type into the demo request form only to reply to you and to set up your demo access. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing lists. Write to [email protected] and we will show you, correct or delete what we hold about you.

What we collect and why

Demo request form — your name, email address, workshop or company name and your message. We use them to answer your request and to create your demo account. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Technical details recorded with the form — your IP address, browser identifier and country at the moment of sending. We keep them to tell real requests from automated spam and to investigate abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Demo account — if we set you up, we store your user name and a hashed password, and the drawing files you upload during your demo session so the software can read them and show you the result. Files stay on our own server, are never used for anything else, and are deleted when your demo ends or sooner on request.

Where it is kept and for how long

Form requests are stored in our Cloudflare account (Cloudflare acts as our processor) and are automatically deleted 180 days after they were sent, or earlier when you ask.
Demo accounts and uploaded files live on our own computer in the UK, not in a public cloud, and are removed at the end of the demo.
Email correspondence stays in our mailbox for as long as we are in touch about the demo or a licence.

Who else sees it

Nobody, apart from the services that carry the data for us: Cloudflare (website hosting and form storage) and our email provider. We do not sell or pass on your details, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. The demo application sets one session cookie after you sign in, needed to keep you signed in; it is deleted when you sign out.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, restrict or object to their use, or receive them in a portable form. Email [email protected] — we reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date. We will not use your details for a new purpose without telling you.
